Unraid is used at German educational institutions
January 31, 2022The association Schülerforschungszentrum Südwürttemberg e.V. offers students the opportunity to take free courses in STEM and to realize their own ideas in a small workshop with 3D printers, CNC milling machines, etc. To store and exchange project files and as a Docker and VM host, the association now relies on the proprietary Linux operating system Unraid. It is used to host multiple Dockers (Pihole, GitLab Server, Unifi Controller, VPN) and Virtual Windows environments with CAD software for 3D modeling.
